New Scientist reports on a US Report recommending urgent actiosn to stop smuggling of ingredients for Nuclear Weapons:
"Since 1992, security officials around the world have confiscated weapons-grade uranium or plutonium a total of 16 times. In each case, the amount of radioactive materials was never more than about 100 grams, far short of the 8 kilograms or more needed to make a nuclear bomb, yet these events are still a cause for grave concern."
